Nitrate Berry Beet Smoothie
A power smoothie to help improve exercise stamina, improve muscle power, heal maintain healthy weight, a good source of potassium and minerals!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Beets
- ½ cup Frozen Berries
- 2 cups Baby Spinach
- ½ Whole Lemon Juice
- 1½ tsp Chia Seeds
- 1½ tsp Whole Flax Seeds
- ¼ cup Flax Seeds
- ½ oz Collagen Powder
Instructions
- Purchase beets pre-steamed (Love Beets is a good brand) or steam them yourself. Peel then cut into 1 inch slices. Place sliced beets into a steamer basket, lower heat, and cover. Steam until vegetables are crisp.
- Add frozen berries, beets, spinach, lemon, cilantro, chia and flax seeds to blender. Add 1 scoop collagen peptides powder.
- Add 3-4 ice cubes.
- Using filtered water, add enough to meet the line of where the food in the blender is to.
- If needed, add more filtered water to thin, or more ice cubes to thicken. Add slowly and reblend.
