The ingredients in this recipe provide AMAZING benefits your body will love. In my opinion, the star of this recipe are the hemp seeds. They are rich in essential fats, omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. Consuming omega-3’s before a workout helps support blood flow to your muscles so that you can get more from your workout. They also add a boost of protein and minerals to support muscle, metabolism, and your mitochondria. If it couldn’t get any better, they may also help reduce symptoms associated with PMS and menopause due to the high levels of gamma-linolenic acid. This combined with almonds and coconut flakes add the perfect amount of healthy fats for prolonged energy.

Dates are responsible for the sweetness of this recipe, they are high in nutrients, antioxidants and fiber, which promote a healthy digestion.

Cacao also contains high levels of antioxidants and it is a great source of iron, magnesium, and calcium. It contains powerful PMS fighting benefits.

Your muscles will LOVE this recipe as much as your tastebuds will!
