Dietitians (RD) are licensed nutritional professionals that have completed extensive schooling and training in the field of food science and human physiology. Dietitians are recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as the leading expert in nutrition, who can assess, diagnose, and treat nutritional problems.

All Dietitians are nutritionists, but not all nutritionists are Dietitians.

What is the difference, and why does it matter for you?

The term "nutritionist" does not associate professional training, schooling, or experience with nutrition. Nutritionists cannot assess, diagnose, or treat nutritional problems.

It is best to seek the advice of a Licensed and Registered Dietitian, to ensure you are receiving sound medical advice from a trained professional.

At Functional Fueling Nutrition, we believe in only providing you with the best healthcare.

Our promise is to always provide you with nutrition treatment from a Licensed and Registered Dietitian.
